FAQ
How much capacity increase can an equipment upgrade usually achieve?
For an existing production line, equipment upgrading can usually improve capacity by around 15%, depending on the original design, process condition and equipment configuration. If the required capacity increase is much higher, replacing or building a new production line is usually recommended.
No. Each production line has its own design limit. When the required capacity exceeds the reasonable upgrade range, simply modifying the original equipment may affect product quality, safety and long-term stability. In this case, Qino will recommend a new production line solution.
In most cases, Qino cannot directly upgrade production equipment from other manufacturers. Different manufacturers may use different process technologies, reactor structures, control logic and design parameters. Without full design data and manufacturing parameters, upgrading such equipment may create technical and safety risks.
Sulfonation equipment is highly process-dependent. Reactor structure, flow distribution, SO₃ concentration, cooling design, control parameters and material selection are closely connected. If the original design parameters are unknown, it is difficult to guarantee stable capacity expansion, product quality and safe operation.
Yes. Qino can evaluate the original design capacity, operating condition, bottlenecks, product quality data, automation level and customer’s target capacity before deciding whether an upgrade is feasible.
If the required capacity increase is beyond the safe and reasonable upgrade range, Qino will recommend replacing key equipment or building a new production line to ensure production stability, product quality and long-term safety.
You can provide the original equipment information, current capacity, target capacity, product quality data, raw material information, operating problems and site conditions. Qino will evaluate whether the existing line is suitable for upgrading and recommend the best solution.
